I was born and raised in a small country town. This small town is where my passion for the outdoors grew with each year. I know that my drive for hunting and fishing wouldn’t have been as strong if it weren’t for my older brother Chris. He taught me so much as a young kid, and showed me how to be an ethical and responsible outdoorsman.
Soon after graduating college, I married my highschool sweetheart, Andrea. We made a few land purchases that year, 240 acres in SW Iowa and 40 acres in Eden, WI which started my obsession with land improvement and wildlife management. We now have two amazing boys, Dallas, Ryder, and Blake which whom I CAN'T WAIT to teach all the aspects of land and wildlife management.
My drive for holding and managing mature whitetails never stops although my wife probably wishes it would. From shed hunting in the spring, planting trees, putting the groceries in the ground for the wildlife, and hunting, my season is 365 days per year.
My new profound love is training and showing my German Shorthaired Pointers. These dogs are absolutely amazing and make me much more successful in the fields. Our breeding program has been astonishing with many of the puppies winning awards not to mention our Breeders Award for our first litter. These dogs elongate my hunting season and have been even better family companions.
With all of my passion for the outdoors, it only seemed fitting that I take this obsession one step farther and started my career with Whitetail Properties Real Estate. It is here where I can grab my knowledge of managing land, and my love of sales and combine them together for a true dream job. People say that you should find something to do which makes you not feel like it isn’t work…and boy were they right. Being a Land Specialist for the elite team of land realtors is truly where I belong.
