2012 HIT LIST BUCKS
"Krueger" -Taken 11-17-12
Krueger is a buck that we have been watching for three years now. He showed up the first time back in 2012 during the rut and hasn't left the property that he roams since. Last year he put on a bunch of bone from his year two rack. However, Krueger remained a night time buck and only came in front of the Covert cameras during the daylight during the winter months. In 2012, Krueger is back and once again EXPLODED! Now sporting eleven points, he is bound to be one of the top bucks on our hit list. Will he finally step out of the darkness and into the daylight? We sure hope he does and we will be waiting!
4 1/2 Years Old - 2012
"Repeat"
Repeat made his name known by looking identical to a 3 1/2 year old buck Zach had shot back in 2008. Sporting the same 2 year old rack that Zach's buck had it seemed as if the buck had been cloned and was going to look the same as a 3 1/2 year old. In 2011, Repeat was seen a couple of times and to our dismay, had not put on much rack growth. Now in 2012, he shows up again sporting a rack that once again had not grown much. Being a four year old whitetail, he is mature and needs to be taken out of the gene pool. Will this old whitetail continue with repetition or make a mistake and get whacked n' stacked?
"GODZILLA"
Oh Oh Oh Godzilla!!!! This is one Godzilla that the Team Haastyle crew will NOT be running away from. Sporting an impressive main frame ten point rack and six more bonus points, this is buck that could shake the very earth! You can bet your bottom dollar that we will be sounding the alarm and going after this once in a lifetime monster!
"Rodriguez"
Rodriguez is a buck of awesomeness! This buck is one to catch any hunter's eye, especially when the rack looks like a monster vine coming out of his head. We have a bunch of pictures of this brute and hope to see this gnarly mess come erupting out of the jungle this fall!
"Mr. Clean"
Mr. Clean is your run of the mill perfect ten point. Sporting a nice wide mainframe ten point rack, Mr. Clean is bound to make any hunter weak in the knees. Mr. Clean might be made into a mess this season!
"johnny cash"
Ol' J.C. got his name from Johnny Cash's country hit "I've Been Everywhere" due to the fact that we keep getting him on every trail cam on one of our properties no matter how far away we place them apart. He's been everywhere
"Raptor"
Raptor is a very VERY unique buck! Sporting a decent right side, this buck shocks and awes us with his big third beam/club left side. With this being the only picture we have gotten thus far of Raptor, we hope to see him soon and get a more detailed look of his antlers while they are in our hands.
"Apollo"
Apollo got his name for one solid reason. This is the simple fact that his racks shoots up towards the sky. We hope we can see this towering eight point this season. Gotta love a big eight!!!
"Bazooka Joe"
Bazooka Joe made a local water hole home these past couple of months. He has been cruising back and forth at all times of the day and thinking a daily drink at the water hole is a good place to be. Hopefully one of our staff will be serving up his next drink this season.
"Gramps"
An old looking buck that has limped into one of our properties this rut. With some short tines but a decent spread, this old war dog may find himself being retired.
"Dough bOY"
Talk about a tank!!! Look at the pictures below and you will know exactly why this crusing buck in the rut got dubbed his name "Dough Boy"
